Huawei Watch Fit App is an independent companion app. It is not an official Huawei product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd.

Information we collect

Basingse does not require you to create an account. The app does not ask for your name, email, or password inside the app.

Depending on how you use the app, the following information may be processed:

  • Bluetooth / nearby devices. With your permission, the app scans for nearby Bluetooth devices so you can connect a watch. This may include device name, Bluetooth address, and signal strength. On some Android versions, location permission is required by the system for Bluetooth scanning. The app does not use this permission to track your GPS location or map where you go.
  • App preferences stored on your device. Selected watch, selected watch face, and similar settings are saved locally on your phone.
  • Advertising data. If ads are enabled, Google AdMob (and, if configured, other ad partners) may collect advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID), device and app information, IP address, and interaction with ads, according to their own policies.
  • Technical / network data. The app needs internet access to load remote configuration (for example ad settings) and to show ads. Standard device and connection information may be processed by those services.
